About me
Dr. Danyelle Bossardet is the Director of Theatre Arts at Northwood High School, where she has dedicated over fifteen years to inspiring and mentoring students in the performing arts. In addition to her work in theatre, Dr. Bossardet has taught a wide range of English courses, including Creative Writing, Writing Workshops, and has contributed to the University of California, Irvine’s Young Writers program. She was also honored to serve as a fellow with the UCI Writing Project. A magna cum laude graduate of the University of Arizona, Dr. Bossardet holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre. She spent several years in New York, where she enjoyed a successful Broadway career, before returning to academia to pursue a Master of Arts in Teaching from UC Irvine. Dr. Bossardet's teaching career spans over a decade and a half, during which she has earned recognition for her outstanding contributions to education, including being named Orange County Arts Teacher of the Year in 2018. In 2024, she completed her Doctorate of Education at the University of Southern California, where her research focused on the intersection of Social Emotional Learning competencies and Arts Education. Dr. Bossardet is deeply committed to fostering creativity, emotional intelligence, and critical thinking in her students, preparing them for success both in the classroom and beyond.
