About me
Lauren Linzmeier is IUSD's Literacy TOSA, bringing 16 years of experience in secondary English education, the last nine years within IUSD. Passionate about equity and empowerment through literacy, she is dedicated to fostering a love of reading in every student, focusing on essential literacy skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. She holds a Master of Arts in 20th Century American Literature from CSU Long Beach, a Single Subject Teaching Credential in English Language Arts from Chapman University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Manhattan University. In addition to her literacy work, she brings a unique perspective from teaching a fashion and design course, integrating creativity and innovation in her approach to student engagement.
